Applying Velcro;
Step Two B:
Make sure you have transferred the velcro placement markings to your nappy -
if
you have a pattern that is cut on the fold don't forget the other wing.
Please Note: the following photo instructions are for the wing tabs, which should be done at the end of the nappy making process, to sew on the front tummy loop uses the same basic ideas and should be done before you sew the nappy up. Tummy loop instructions are included in brackets.
Place
your velcro on the microfleece side of the wing tab. (Place your loop fabric on the right side of the pul fabric, lining it up with the placement markings, pin)

Slide velcro and wing tab under the presser foot, ensuring the velcro
doesn't shift. Sew using either a close zigzag or straight stitch, and
only sew where the velcro is on the microfleece. (Sew around outside
of loop fabric using a close zigzag or straight stitch)

Your wing tab should now look like this.

(The front of your nappy should now have the loop fabric applied like this, you are now ready to move on to the next step.)

To add a crossover tab, line up the loop fabric over the sewing lines
and velcro already applied, sew down using the same method, but sew right
around the loop fabric.
Your crossover tab should look like this.
