Sewing Lastin;

Step Four:

Make sure you have the elastic placement marks on the microfleece. Set your sewing machine to sew a three step zigzag or elastic stitch. Place the lastin so it overlaps the placement mark by about 1-2cm. Hold the lastin with two fingers and slide under the presser foot

Sew the lastin, starting to stretch it as far as you can once the thread reaches the placement mark. You may need to hold the far end of the nappy and pull the fabric through gently. Sew while stretching the lastin until you get to the far placement mark, then release the tension on the lastin and sew one or two cm's more. Disengage the sewing machine and cut the lastin.

To finish the nappy when all the elastic is sewn on, turn right side out and apply the stud snaps or velcro to the wings matching up with the placement marks, and making sure the caps are on the pul side of the wings and the velcro is on the microfleece side.
